August 2026 review
August was one of the strongest months of the year. The flagship returned +19.53%, the verification account +30.81%, SteadyFlow +11.89% and Growth +6.86%. Four out of four finished positive. One clarification changes how that reads: trading was never paused in July, risk was reduced, and full risk was restored across every signal after the August NFP, in the second full week. August's result did not come from a full month at full size.
The returns are not this month's main story, though. August is when the entire paid product line reached the Market, four Expert Advisors in seventeen days, and in the same month we closed two signals that did not justify themselves in live testing.

July was the year's second red month; August brought the size back and returned nearly twenty percent. Maximum drawdown stays at 30.85%, the April record unmoved for a fifth month. Two numbers from that page belong side by side: the average winning trade makes 3.08 EUR and the average loser costs 5.41. Every loss is worth almost two wins, and the account still compounds, because it wins 69.33% of the time. Expected payoff is 48 cents per trade, repeated 4,526 times.

The best number in the portfolio this month, and the verification account beat the flagship doing it, +30.81% against +19.53%. In July they fell together; in August they rose together, but not equally. That gap is expected and must not be read as one being better: a different broker means different spreads, different fills and a shorter history. This account's job is not a better number, it is evidence that the same edge reproduces elsewhere.

The portfolio's most modest green month. Growth is also the account the live broadcast carries, so if you want to watch these trades actually open and close, this is the one. In August it was on air across fifteen sessions over six days, and the three longest broadcasts were also the three worst. The month finished positive, but most of the time spent on screen was spent on losing hours.

The signal's best month so far and the highest win rate in the portfolio. Maximum drawdown moved from July's 10.86% to 12.51%, a new record for the second month running. We said in July that a new drawdown record on the portfolio's calmest signal is a data point rather than an alarm, and that still holds. But two months in a row is a pattern rather than a single point.
TechnoTrader EA Showcase, opened 20 August · ID 2387565. August 2026: −1.39%, four trades in August. There is nothing here to read yet. It appears only because the account is public and stays public, including in the months when it looks bad. One 500 EUR account runs three of our Market EAs at factory defaults at the same time, so a buyer can watch the exact files they would buy working on real money. The curve belongs to the three together, not to any one of them.

Eight weeks, 72 trades, profit factor 0.82. June +2.12%, July −3.67%. The figures stand exactly as recorded.
Techno Composite, closed 30 August · ID 2379456
Ten weeks, 272 trades, profit factor 0.84, growth −15.18%, expected payoff −0.50 EUR per trade. June +5.55%, July −14.15%. Those figures stand exactly as recorded too.
Neither was closed because it was in drawdown. Drawdown is a normal part of a working system and we do not close those. If drawdown were the reason we would have no signals left.
The reason is different, and harsher: neither of them justified itself in live testing. Profit factor stayed below one for the whole of each signal's life, and on Composite the expected payoff per trade was negative. That is not a bad patch, it is an absent result. A system in drawdown earns, just not right now. Here there was nothing that earned.
The sample on both is small and we are not claiming a final verdict on those strategies themselves. But a public signal is not kept running on hope. Two ideas went into live testing, neither carried, and they were stopped. That is exactly what the testing is for.
+19.53% is a good month. April was −16.28% and July −8.11%. All three came from the same rules, unchanged in between. If August proves the system works, then April should prove it does not, and both conclusions would be drawn from a sample far too small.
A strong month is more dangerous to read than a weak one, because nobody questions it. The month to size your position from is the bad one, not this one.
A good month is not evidence and a bad month is not a warning. Both are single draws from the same distribution. Judge the rules, the drawdown you would have had to sit through, and the number of trades behind the result.
Full size continues into September. The whole product line is live, so the next issue reports on the Expert Advisors as well as the signals. Bitcoin Interval's launch price of 99 USD runs until 13 September, after which it moves to 199.
